The care home is registered to care for 61 residents and aims to offer the highest standard of residential care when it opens its doors. With tasteful décor and luxurious furnishings throughout, a large bar and bistro area for residents to spend time with visiting friends and family, and the Bellingdon Bistro where the cuisine of the finest quality is served, it’s easy to see why. Freshly cooked, nutritious food is served every day.
Run by Berkley Care Group, a small care group with a proven track record for high-quality care in the UK, Portobello Place is focused on caring for residents with dignity and respect, with wellbeing at the heart of it all.
Reducing disturbance and disruption for other residents
The home is purpose-built in a courtyard setting and offers luxurious en-suite accommodation and top-quality care to residents. The spacious communal spaces, activities and events our a unique selling point of the home and viewings our always extremely popular. However, as the community builds, it was essential to balance these requirements with the need to reduce disruption and disturbance to existing residents and their daily routines.
Glimpse was asked to build a virtual tour that would give potential residents and their families the ability to freely explore this comfortable and homely environment, from any device, at any time.
The tour allows the team to start building a rapport with new residents and their families and recognises that choosing the right residential care home can be daunting. While moving into a care home is never an easy choice, the tour can help inform and support the decision-making process.
Virtual Tours for Care Homes
Our 3D tours allow potential residents and their families to discover and explore your home and facilities whether there about to make a move or looking ahead to select a care provider. Traditionally clients would need to book in a series of time-consuming site visit before making a final selection. When time can be of the essence or when dealing with people with restricted mobility, your virtual tour can benefit those who find it difficult to visit in person.
For the wider family visiting numerous homes can also be challenging and costly. Allowing anyone to view a prospective home without having to travel promotes a move inclusive approach and decision process; helping narrow the search for the home they are interested in.
Your virtual tour does not look to replace a viewing entirely; instead, it gives a first glance and guide to ensure your face to face viewing is more qualified. You will be saving you team hours, reducing disturbance and disruption for other residents and enabling your staff to focus on other essential tasks and become more efficient with viewings.
